A Global Missions Partnership
In 2014, Emmaus Church began a global-missions partnership with a small community in Western Uganda called Kaihura. Kaihura is a small but beautiful village, filled with incredible people that we have cherished the opportunity to work with as we seek to make disciples and build healthy churches.
This summer, a team from Emmaus will travel to Kaihura, Uganda for a week of loving ministry. If you would like to give toward a team member, click here.Donate

What we do
The primary way that Emmaus Church engages our command to make disciples of all nations is through a long-term gospel-partnership with Kaihura, a small village in Western Uganda. Since 2014, we have sent annual teams and engaged in ongoing projects to help develop their community, strengthen their churches, and make disciples of their people.
In addition to our church-wide initiatives in Kaihura, individual families of Emmaus Church are heavily invested in gospel-partnership globally through child sponsorship. Currently, 75+ children from Kaihura are sponsored by Emmaus families to provide food, education, and clothes for these children. Emmaus Kids Ministry also sponsors several children, giving our kids the opportunity to engage in global missions.
On an annual basis (typically in the summer) we send at least one short-term missions team to the village of Kaihura, Uganda, in a gospel-centered effort to strengthen local churches, minister to orphans, train pastors, work on efforts to bring clean water to the people of Kaihura, equip school teachers, and much more.
We are thrilled to already see much gospel fruit from our partnership with the people of Kaihura and we can’t wait to see what God is going to do there in the future! We would love for you to come with us on one of these trips to the beautiful community of Kaihura, Uganda! If you are interested in learning more, please email [email protected]
