After a long season apart, we have begun gathering for in-person services on Sundays at Emmaus Church. Scroll down to see all the details!
As we continue to evaluate recommendations from health experts, our regathering plan includes several changes to promote a safe environment. Here are the big details.
We have reduced our seating capacity to promote safe distancing. In light of this, worshippers will need to reserve a place in our gatherings online, with registration opening on Mondays at 10am each week on this page.Register for 8/9
Sunday services are family-style and will last 1 hour. Children of all ages are welcome in the services, and resources will be provided for children each week.
In this season, we have two services times: 9:00am and 11:00am.
For families worshipping from home, the 9:00am service will be streamed live here. The service video will be made available after the 9am service ends for viewing at whatever time is best for your family.

We need your help!
It's our desire to create a safe environment for all who worship with us in-person. Here are some of the things we will be doing, and asking you to do, to help make that happen.
We ask that all who plan to attend self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19, even the morning of church services. If you or anyone in your household has recently experienced symptoms of COVID-19, or has been in close contact with someone showing symptoms, please plan to worship from home.
To promote safe distancing, each of our services will have limited seating and require registration. Upon entry, worshippers will be guided to their seats by our usher team. At dismissal, instructions will be given to promote safe distancing during exits.
In accordance with state guidelines, wearing a face covering is strongly encouraged for all worshippers. Disposable masks will be available for anyone who needs one. We are asking that you wear a face covering during the corporate singing portions of our services. All staff and volunteers will be wearing masks when not on stage.
We recognize some people would like to greet from a distance, while others are ready to hug. To facilitate a fun, easy way to communicate your comfort level, everyone can choose a sticker to wear upon arrival – hugger, hand-shaker, fist-bumper, or head-nodder. You can pick up your sticker as you enter the lobby.
In addition to working with a professional cleaning company, we have established a new volunteer team that will oversee a careful cleaning of our space before and after each service. As much as possible, we will be working to ensure each service happens in a clean and safe environment. If you would like to help us on this team, let us know!
