About the Kucala's!
Greg & Sheila Kucala
Loving God and loving others happens in community, and our love for God and others has grown most when we are with others who are centered on Christ.
We gather in the kitchen, casually catching up with each other over coffee and snacks for about 20 minutes. We then convene in the living room, read God’s Word, and walk through the questions from Brian for about an hour. We then go around the room gathering prayer requests and pray for about 20 minutes. We then hang around and visit until we kick everyone out.
Sheila and I are celebrating our 35 years together this year. Our oldest, Zach, lives with us, and our youngest, Megan, is married to Josh Cofield, living 11 minutes away with our three grandchildren. My father lives in Gainesville, and Sheila’s family reside in California.
Adventures with our grandchildren, like exploring God’s creation on nature walks or playing with glowsticks in enormous bubble baths. Walks with our dog. Sharing meals with family and friends. Hosting holiday meals. Discovering how we can individually or as a couple exercise our spiritual gifts and talents to God’s glory and the betterment of those around us.
Greg says, “Romans and 1 Peter.” Sheila says, “Deuteronomy and Proverbs.”
